The Right of Our Silent Friends: To Live, To Be Healthy and To Be Loved

Street animals are among the most vulnerable and overlooked members of our society. Kibele operates comprehensive projects to fulfill the basic rights of these silent friends — health, food security and protection.

Making food donations for street animals, supporting veterinary care, or participating in the adoption process; each of you can take part in this movement. Improving the quality of life for street animals is at the heart of all our goals.

  • Free Veterinary Care: We provide routine check-ups, vaccinations and emergency interventions free of charge at our fully-equipped clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What You're Curious About Regarding Street Animals

Will the food I donate reach the right animals?
Yes. All food donations are registered in our registration system, come to our center warehouse, where quality is controlled and distributed to the street areas most in need according to map data. Our volunteers distribute under the guidance of related veterinarians, photos are archived and we share monthly reports.
How does adoption work?
Our mobile application shares photos, health status, personality and vaccination/spaying status of street animals. Interested parties complete an e-form, home conditions and family structure are evaluated. If suitable, the registration certificate is prepared digitally, signed and the animal goes to its loving home with the same responsibilities as a farm animal owner.
At what age is free spaying and neutering performed?
Animals can be operated on at 4-6 months of age. Our center veterinarian identifies suitable animals and the procedure is performed in sterile conditions in our equipped operating room. Recovery support and nutrition assistance are also provided.
What should I do if I see abuse?
Report it to us or police animal protection units with photos, location and witness information. We provide legal support and assist in filing a complaint with the prosecutor's office. In emergencies, call 112 and request veterinary referral.
How are animals rescued after a disaster?
We create damage maps with drones and aerial data, detect animal signs (screams, movement) in debris areas with radar. Mobile ambulances and trained teams extract animals, provide medical care or transport them to safe areas.
